Illegal Mayors

Bloombergs Mayors against Illegal all guns seems to be in the news a lot and for all the wrong reasons.

New York Mayor Bloomberg, America’s self-appointed gun control financier and front man, established the group Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG). The group’s typically innocuous and benign sound bites actually conceal an aggressive and extreme agenda, some rather disastrous shenanigans (such as a Keystone Cop style “sting” operation on southern gun stores), and funding from the primarily gun control financier (the Joyce Foundation, where Barack Obama spent eight years on the board). MAIG is dedicated to nationally making firearm acquisition as difficult as it is in New York City.But as it turns out, Bloomberg and the mayors who joined his cabal are often ducking the law thanks to their habit of breaking the law.

The list seems to grow every day

Over 50 mayors have left the organization in the last few months and many more have trickled away in the preceding years.Nashua, New Hampshire Mayor Donnalee Lozeau summed up the sentiments of many former Bloomberg associates saying “Wait a minute, I don’t want to be part of something like that. I told them, ‘You’re Mayors Against Illegal Guns, you’re not mayors for gun control.’”“The reason why I joined the group in the first place is because I took the name for what it said – against ‘illegal’ guns,” echoed Rockford, Illinois Mayor Lawrence Morrissey, who left the group in June. “The original focus, I thought, was going to be focusing on better on enforcement of our existing laws. As the original mission swayed, that’s when I decided that it was no longer in line with my beliefs.” He also opined “If anything, [locally] we have talked about not getting involved with things like banning assault weapons and banning magazine clips.”

They are bleeding Mayors at a higher rate than the ones going to prison.  Read it all, it's funny in spots and in a way, it sad. These people that took a oath to "support and defend the Constitution"  have no problem trying to take away your rights while they feather their own nests.
