THE FOUR RULES

1. ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED.

2. NEVER POINT YOUR MUZZLE AT SOMETHING YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DESTROY.

3. KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET AND YOU ARE READY TO SHOOT.

4. KNOW YOUR TARGET AND WHAT'S BEYOND.

Winston Churchill said
"A GENTLEMAN, SELDOM, IF EVER, NEEDS A GUN.
BUT WHEN HE DOES, HE NEEDS IT VERY BADLY!"
Si Vis Paceum Para Bellum

Sam Adams, more than beer

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen”
Samuel Adams

Lincoln on power

"We must prevent these things being done, by either congresses or courts — The people — the people — are the rightful masters of both Congresses, and courts — not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert it —" Abraham Lincoln

My Daily Kona: Here we go again....Another Elitist and "sensible ...: I saw this link to the Daily Beast  and some gentleman named Shawn VanDiver is proposing some what he calls "sensible gun restrictions&...

Read it all. This is a very good fisking of a supposed gun owner. He's also one of Obama's minions. The outright lies like the 80 to 90 percent support background check lie. I've said it before, if 80% of a politicians constituents wanted something, the politician will move heaven and earth to try and make it happen.

He also spouts about "compromise". The gun haters do not compromise on any thing. What have they ever given up? Nothing. It's always the gun owners that give something up and then the gun haters start in again.

I will not submit.

I will not comply.

I will not register a single gun.

MOLON LABE bitches.

Here is a reasonable compromise I offered years ago: A Gun Control Compromise
I'm a little less concerned about compromise now. Today I'm much more likely to just ignore their silly rules and refuse to "work with" them at all.
