THE FOUR RULES

1. ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED.

2. NEVER POINT YOUR MUZZLE AT SOMETHING YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DESTROY.

3. KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET AND YOU ARE READY TO SHOOT.

4. KNOW YOUR TARGET AND WHAT'S BEYOND.

Winston Churchill said
"A GENTLEMAN, SELDOM, IF EVER, NEEDS A GUN.
BUT WHEN HE DOES, HE NEEDS IT VERY BADLY!"
Si Vis Paceum Para Bellum

Sam Adams, more than beer

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen”
Samuel Adams

Lincoln on power

"We must prevent these things being done, by either congresses or courts — The people — the people — are the rightful masters of both Congresses, and courts — not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert it —" Abraham Lincoln

Busted: Occupy Buffalo Leader Caught in Numerous Lies About His Military Service

Christopher M. Simmance, a leader of Occupy Buffalo, told several media outlets that he served as many as three tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. Not only that, but he also claims to have been so severely injured by an RPG while in combat in Afghanistan, that he only has 10 years left to live. Army service records, however, show a very different story, reporting that Simmance was stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington for three years and left active-duty in January 2001 — before the September 11 attacks.

I've meet a few of these posers before. They run down to the BX and buy some medals and think that makes them big war heroes. I spent just shy of 4 years in the Marines. Never once did I think of "embellishing" my service record. I spent some time with a line unit, 4th battalion 11t5h regiment. A artillery unit at 29 palms. I didn't go into combat. It was also one of the times I really enjoyed what I was doing. I was a radio operator/wireman. Our days consisted mostly of sitting around the comm shack and doing maintenance on radios and field phones. Pretty boring but necessary stuff.

This guy though, didn't even know enough geography to know where he supposedly was. According to the story he was in the "Valley of Elah". in Afghanistan. Except there is no such place. It was a pretty good Tommy Lee Jones Movie though. It's also the valley where David fought Goliath.

He also inflated his rank to Staff Sargent. Does that mean I can tell people I was a Captain? I always thought that was a cool rank. High enough to have some power and low enough to stay out of the really big trouble.

From the story we get this;

Simmance also did not earn any medals or awards that would indicate service in an overseas combat zone, Army records show.

When The News asked Simmance how to reconcile his statements with his Army record, he insisted the records are incomplete.

The military is fastidious about their record keeping. They have people that their only job is to make sure the records are up to date. If you blow your nose, someone somewhere is writing it down. This turd wouldn't know the truth if it bit him in the ass. Just who is he trying to impress anyway? Other of the flea bag crowd?

I will keep no exaggerating my service and honor the ones that have served in combat. Young men and women that deserve our respect. They are the true heroes, not this idiot that has to lie to his occupy buddies to try and get their respect. He should be occupying a jail cell.
