THE FOUR RULES

1. ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED.

2. NEVER POINT YOUR MUZZLE AT SOMETHING YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DESTROY.

3. KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET AND YOU ARE READY TO SHOOT.

4. KNOW YOUR TARGET AND WHAT'S BEYOND.

Winston Churchill said
"A GENTLEMAN, SELDOM, IF EVER, NEEDS A GUN.
BUT WHEN HE DOES, HE NEEDS IT VERY BADLY!"
Si Vis Paceum Para Bellum

Sam Adams, more than beer

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen”
Samuel Adams

Lincoln on power

"We must prevent these things being done, by either congresses or courts — The people — the people — are the rightful masters of both Congresses, and courts — not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert it —" Abraham Lincoln

Head of leading anti-gun violence group to step down

Read all of this tripe here.

Mark Glaze was named head of Mayors Against Illegal All Guns in 2011, three weeks after a gunman opened fire in an Arizona shopping plaza, killing six people and critically wounding Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. It was the first in a string of mass shootings, including one at a Newtown, Connecticut, elementary school in 2012, that helped galvanize the gun control movement.

Yeah, backing the infringement of my rights is going to stop some gang banger or other thug from committing a crime.

Last year, he helped orchestrate MAIG's merger with another group, Moms Demand Action For Gun Sense in America, and launch a new umbrella group, Everytown for Gun Safety, earlier this month.
And it was a joke before Bloomingidiot got the words out of his mouth.  They don't care about gun safety, they care about restricting the rights of the law abiding citizens. If they cared about safety, where are the classes and schedules? Can't I contact them and set up a safety class in my AO? Of course not.

On Winning: What Will it Take?

On Winning: What Will it Take?

So, what do supporters of the Second Amendment need to do to win?
Exactly what they are doing.
Do not allow the gun grabbers to frame the message. Do not allow their lies about your rights, their exaggerations about support for their cause, their flawed statistics created specifically to bolster their twisted goals put you on the defensive. Counter their lies. Diffuse their claims. Do not allow their rhetoric to become the truth in the eyes of America.
Hold marches. Purchase firearms. Support your local ranges and gun stores. Do not be afraid to carry your firearm peacefully and openly, and do not hesitate to carry concealed. These are your rights. Exercise them.

We are winning, we can never let up.

Deputy fired for shooting family pet.

On an 85-acre family farm in Point, Texas, she was a fixture.

Candy was Middleton's 2-year-old blue heeler. Friday afternoon, she was in the back of Middleton's truck as it sat in his driveway. Middleton was working in the pasture.

He had called the Rains County Sheriff's Department hours earlier to report a break in. Someone got in his home and stole guns, electronics, and his wife's jewelry.

Hours? It shouldn't take hours to answer a call.

The dog's owner collapsed in a heap over Candy as she was whimpering and trying to stay alive. Middleton said she would never have survived.

"The bullet went in the back of her head and came out near her eye," he said.

How do you shoot a charging dog in the back of the head? The dog was walking away when deputy I'm so scared murdered a dog that was NO THREAT.

Dooley went to his car and called for backup.

"Get me some help out here, now," Dooley said on his police radio.

What does he need backup for?  He's Answering a burglary call, not a mass murder.

now the Rains County Sheriff's Office is inundated with complaints.
Well isn't that just too bad. Maybe you should check the people you hire for a YELLOW STRIPE down their back.

"Over and over, and hundreds and hundreds of calls and you pick it up, and it's immediate cussing and vulgar," said Sheriff David Traylor.
Piss people off and this is what you get. Think it's bad now? wait until you're up for re-election.

Thursday he fired Jerrod Dooley, who told the sheriff he was bitten by a dog on a prior job a few years earlier.
Poor baby. I've been bit before and I'm not a quivering coward, afraid of every dog I see.
"By no means am I saying he's guilty of anything at this time, other than poor judgment," Traylor said. He said his department will conduct a full investigation, and if criminal charges are warranted against Dooley, he'll suggest them.
How about felony cruelty to animals? That would take care of him every being a cop again.

Then, deputy dipshit goes on TV and blubbers about how sad he is. I call bullshit. He's sad alright, sad he got his ass fired.

Former Rains County Sheriff's Deputy Jarrod Dooley gave a very emotional interview Friday, days after a controversial shooting where he shot a beloved family dog.

Dooley wiped away tears as he tried to explain why he shot Candy, a 2-year-old blue heeler.

"I tried, but I didn't think I could get away from her," he said, pausing to compose himself. “I told her to get back, she wouldn't get back... And I fired two shots."
And shot a dog in the back of the head. And you wonder why people call you a coward?

Dooley, who is a single father, said he and his son have received death threats.
OK, I don't agree with the threats, Even though what he did was despicable, he and his son don't deserve that.
“I can’t go to the grocery store without being recognized, pointed at, laughed at," Dooley said. "Can't pay my water bill without hearing my name, saying 'There's the sorry cop that killed the dog.'"

Now that he deserves. The best thing he could do is change his name and get the hell out of Texas.
