Poll: Voter Support For Gun Control Lowest Since February 2012

A Rasmussen poll published March 31st 2014 shows that voter support for gun control is at its lowest point since February 2012.

The poll was conducted March 26th-27th.

According to the poll, voter support for “stricter gun control laws” is at 40 percent – a 9 percent drop from what it was in May.

Moreover, voter opposition to further gun control is at 53 percent. This is the first time a solid voting majority has lined up against tougher gun control laws since the heinous crime at Sandy Hook Elementary, and it is “the highest level of opposition [to more gun control] in over two years.”

But....but...what about the 90% the gun haters keep telling us want background checks? Here's a political reality for BSC* Joan and the rest of the gun haters. If even 70%of the people told their congress critters they wanted universal background checks, it would have already happened. They aren't stupid, they know if that many constituents wanted it, well, they do want to be re-elected.

Slap the Anti-Rights Haters with a ‘Thunderclap’ for Connecticut Gun Owners

Let's show the gun haters that we are tired of their crap.

Anti-rights groups have announced that they will protest a gun rights rally planned by Connecticut Citizens Defense League for April 5th 2014 using social media and creating a ‘thunderclap‘ at www.thunderclap.it ( http://tiny.cc/nlondx )

“Now, the anti-rights groups and politicians are continuing their attacks against gun owners by trying to demonize and minimize us through social media and our corrupt local media. They are calling us ‘the KKK‘, ‘the lunatic fringe’ and stating that we are ‘bullies‘ further implying that we are violent or somehow intimidating. We are exercising our natural rights to freely associate, assemble and possess tools to affect our own defense; all the while trying to keep from being locked in a cage or shot to death by the police.”

Our response is to counterattack! We will need help from every single person reading this to make a thunderclap that makes their efforts look petty and silly.

Southern California --(Ammoland.com)-  Democrat State Senator Leland Yee was arrested for firearms import violations, wire fraud and political corruption.
That is the tip of the iceberg in this FBI probe into gun running. Yee and former school board president Keith Jackson were the go-between between the undercover FBI agents and the gangster Raymond Chow. Keith Jackson and his son, Brandon Jackson, sold bullet proof vests, and guns, and offered stolen credit cards, cocaine and murder for hire.
State Senator Yee, San Francisco, was against civilian firearms before he was for them. He claimed that California citizens would be safer once rifles dating back a hundred years were outlawed and citizens were disarmed. Yee authored bills like SB 47, SB 108 and SB249 to regulate and eliminate magazine fed firearms in California.. except the guns Yee sold to undercover FBI agents, of course. Yee sought publicity for his anti gun stance.

California citizens are guilty too. Too many California voters will continue to support corrupt Democrat politicians who make expensive promises using other people’s money. That is particularly true of Senator Yee’s district of San Francisco. California voters will soon forget that some of that political money is from criminals.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Gun-control groups said Thursday they were trying to find a new legislative leader to champion firearms restrictions after one of their most outspoken supporters was charged in a federal gun-trafficking case.

What ever are they going to do?

 This really leaves us scrambling for someone to pick up that mantle," said Paul Song, executive chairman of Courage Campaign, a nonprofit advocacy group. "If it wasn't so sad it would be comical. But what we're really worried about is that this will further destroy the momentum for gun control here in California."

Well isn't that just too bad. Why do these people hate freedom so much? They think that by punishing lawful gun owners instead of criminals, we will be somehow safer.

Yee Will Not Be Punished for His Worst Crimes

California State Senator Leland Yee has established himself as one of that state's most rabidly anti-gun lawmakers--and competition for that title is fierce indeed. That makes his arrest on charges of corruption and, of all things, weapons trafficking, deliciously ironic to gun-rights advocates in California and across the nation. Hypocrisy of such purity is rarely found, even in politics.
Yee is accused of arranging a complex plan to illegally import millions of dollars worth of weapons, including machine guns and missiles, which were to be provided by Islamic extremist groups in the Philippines.
