THE FOUR RULES

1. ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED.

2. NEVER POINT YOUR MUZZLE AT SOMETHING YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DESTROY.

3. KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET AND YOU ARE READY TO SHOOT.

4. KNOW YOUR TARGET AND WHAT'S BEYOND.

Winston Churchill said
"A GENTLEMAN, SELDOM, IF EVER, NEEDS A GUN.
BUT WHEN HE DOES, HE NEEDS IT VERY BADLY!"
Si Vis Paceum Para Bellum

Sam Adams, more than beer

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen”
Samuel Adams

Lincoln on power

"We must prevent these things being done, by either congresses or courts — The people — the people — are the rightful masters of both Congresses, and courts — not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert it —" Abraham Lincoln

Israel needs more than temporary gun solution to stop 'final' one

Israel needs more than temporary gun solution to stop 'final' one

A country who's people were nearly exterminated, with the help of gun control. That famous quote about "those that refuse to learn from history" comes to mind.

Guilty verdict in Osceola County hate group leader's trial

Guilty verdict in Osceola County hate group leader's trial

This is a load of bullshit. Most of the evidence photos are 10 years old. Remember, if they can convict someone for "paramilitary training", we are all at risk. Some liberal idiot puss wit prosecutor can decide he doesn't like you or the way you train and haul you into court.

Things that are irritating

Computers; My little notebook has fianly died. For the last 3 years, it's done everything I asked of it with few complaints. All the coffee spilled on it and the bread crumbs and other crap spilled or poured on it. The keyboard started acting up a couple of weeks ago and I went and got a cheap aftermarket keyboard. That saved the day for a while.
Now I've fired up SW's old computer to use for now. It's old enough that it still has windoze NT on it. It's going to have to make the trip over to my tech because it's got some messed up files. I'll have him clean it up and reload it with the basics. I've already saved the important files from the notebook onto a thumb drive.

The VA; We have a very good medical center here, it's some of the best care around. I went out this morning for my 3 month labs and check up and lo and behold, they've got more stuff torn up. They have a row of handicapped parking, plus a small lot also all handicapped. Today it was all closed off and the back entrance I usually use was closed. I finally found a door I could get in not too far from the parking lot. There was already a long line at 7:00. After the nice lady drained most of my blood I saw the doc and pharmicist and got my ass out of there. It didn't help that the temp around then was 10 with a windchill of 2. They have been working on that place for the last 10 years with no end in sight. They remodeled the front entrance and check in area twice in the last 3 years. There's a parking shortage, yet one whole parking lot has been closed off for the last 5 or 6 years. It seems like they never get done.

Texting drivers; Having been raised in the 60's, I can go through my day without sending so much as 1 text. I carry my phone with me, but that doesn't mean I'm going to answer it. Such as unidentified numbers. My new phone almost always shows me where a call originated from. I don't know who's trying to call me, but I know exactly no one in Fresno California. I also don't know anyone from the greater northern los angeles area. But back to texting. I have yet to meet anyone that is so important that they need to answer a text while they are stopped at a redlight. I got a text while I was driving the other day and it waited to be read after I got where I was going. The ones that think they are so good they can text and drive at the samme time, woe unto you if you hit me. You will be going to the hospital because before the coppers get there, your head is going to hit the steering wheel about 15 times. I think the punishment for causing a accident when texting should be 30 days in jail and your car crushed and parked back in your driveway. Oh, you still owe 15 thousand on it? so sorry for you. I have a friend that owns a body shop. He told me a few years ago that the best thing that ever happened to his business was 16 year old girls with cell phones. Followed closly by 16 year old boys with cell phones. The last time I was at his shop. it was wall to wall and stacked 2 deep out back.

That's enough bitching for one day.
