Obama's OSHA pick is anti-gun

Overlawyered.com reports David Michaels, Barack Obama's nominee to head the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, has "strong views on firearms issues."



Well, what else is new. Obama surrounds himself with left wing nut jobs and fruitcakes. He even has a domestic terrorist in his little cadre of friends.

OSHA has authority to regulate the working conditions of various job categories associated with firearms use (security guards, hunting guides, etc.) and could in that capacity do much to bring grief to Second Amendment values.



This makes it important to call and write your Senators. Not that writing Harkin would do much good. He's as anti gun as ant other fool in DC. He still needs to hear from us, even if he is going to vote the party line. We need to get as many pro-gun folks as we can find to stop this foolishness.



Senators have put nominations on hold for less. It will be interesting to see whether they take an interest in Michaels’ views on gun restrictions and their place in OSHA’s agenda.



We'll see what they do. But you can bet that if Obama wants it, he will get it. We mad our opinion know about Holders nomination for Attorney General and he was still approved. Includinjg Grassley, enemy of gun rights. It doesn't matter what he says. His votes speak volumes.
