THE FOUR RULES

1. ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED.

2. NEVER POINT YOUR MUZZLE AT SOMETHING YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DESTROY.

3. KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET AND YOU ARE READY TO SHOOT.

4. KNOW YOUR TARGET AND WHAT'S BEYOND.

Winston Churchill said
"A GENTLEMAN, SELDOM, IF EVER, NEEDS A GUN.
BUT WHEN HE DOES, HE NEEDS IT VERY BADLY!"
Si Vis Paceum Para Bellum

Sam Adams, more than beer

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen”
Samuel Adams

Lincoln on power

"We must prevent these things being done, by either congresses or courts — The people — the people — are the rightful masters of both Congresses, and courts — not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert it —" Abraham Lincoln

McCain-Finegold is unconstitutional

From a editorial in todays Register

The First Amendment is based on the principle that the truth will emerge from a vigorous debate in the public marketplace of ideas. There is no place for the government to choose which speakers can participate in that debate.

McCain-Finegold should be struck down as unconstitutional. Where does the government get off telling anyone, even a corporation what they can and cannot say. The 1st Amendment is not selective. The Supreme Court would be wise to act on this. It's time to show these politicians that the Constitution is more than a bunch of words on a old piece of paper.

The 1st amendment is a absolute right that is given by God. The Bill of rights does not give any rights. It protects the rights that everyone is born with from a government that would control every thought and every move we make. Congress is forgetting that they serve at our pleasure. It's time for a major house cleaning and send people like McCain and Finegold packing. The government is getting too big and is wanting more and more control over what we do and say. It's time to clean house, starting from the top down. Especially Obama's 30+ czars that answer to no one. Most of them don't even have to be approved by the Senate. Government is supposed to be accountable to "WE THE PEOPLE".

Next year we are going to elect the whole of the House of Represenetives and 1/3 of the Senate. It time to start listening to candidates other tha the encumbants. It's time we threw a bunch of these carrer politicians out. They are only there because of the power the can wield over the "commoners". It is past the time for us to take our country back. Of course most of them will be re-elected because everyone thinks thier congresscritter is doing a fine job. It's all the others that are the problem. This is the attitude that keeps all these people entrenched in thier positions.

Look at the health care debate. What ever they come up with, it will not apply to them. Why is that? If it's good enough for us, why isn't it good enough for them? Because they have thier own special plan. a plan that takes care of them for the rest of thier lives. Why would they give that up. They will force something on us that may or may not be a good plan, yet they won't join in. That proves that they don't care about "WE THE PEOPLE" at all. Give the masses something to shut them up so we can go back to our overseas junkets and high dollar vacations.
