THE FOUR RULES

1. ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED.

2. NEVER POINT YOUR MUZZLE AT SOMETHING YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DESTROY.

3. KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET AND YOU ARE READY TO SHOOT.

4. KNOW YOUR TARGET AND WHAT'S BEYOND.

Winston Churchill said
"A GENTLEMAN, SELDOM, IF EVER, NEEDS A GUN.
BUT WHEN HE DOES, HE NEEDS IT VERY BADLY!"
Si Vis Paceum Para Bellum

Sam Adams, more than beer

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen”
Samuel Adams

Lincoln on power

"We must prevent these things being done, by either congresses or courts — The people — the people — are the rightful masters of both Congresses, and courts — not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert it —" Abraham Lincoln

John Carlson: Nixon would be in awe of Obama

“When the president does it, that means that it’s not illegal.

— President Richard Nixon

John Carlson had a good article in the Register Saturday comparing Watergate to Fast and Furious. He brings up a lot of good points. The similarities between the two criminal operations as to what the Presidents said about executive privilege.

Nixon’s people called their lies “inoperative” statements. Obama’s Justice Department insisted in writing there was no policy to send machine guns to Mexican drug cartels, when of course there was. The blatant lie was discovered and “withdrawn as inaccurate.” No harm, no foul, unless you’re a dead border control agent.

Then there is the fact that Besides Brian Terry, Jamie Zapata, a ICE agent was murdered along with upwards of 300 innocent Mexican citizens. Nobody dies at the Watergate. That alone makes it a hard comparison. Of course the lies are basically the same.

Quoting Nixon again;
“Politics would be a hell of a good business if it weren’t for the goddamned people.”
That’s Nixon again, and Obama might end up agreeing with the 37th president on that one. The voters will be Obama’s judge.

The people that I find amusing are the apologists for Obama and his criminal administration. Most of them are still trying to blame Bush. Operation wide receiver, under Bush, was a joint operation with the Mexican government to try and slow gun trafficking. The weapons were tracked and even had RFID chips in them to aid in the tracking. The Mexicans were told when and where the guns were to cross the border. They lost them right after they crossed and the operation was ended because of the risk of losing guns.

Fast and Furious was conducted without the knowledge of the Mexican government. Since ATF agents can't do anything on the other side of the border, their claim that they were tracking the guns to "higher ups" is a blatant lie.

US attorney Dennis Burke was in charge of the whole operation. This is the Dennis Burke that back in the 90's was one of the actual writers of the failed Clinton assault weapons ban. A ban that h ad absolutely nothing to do with crime reduction. It did make bayonet lugs illegal though. Burke then worked for Janet Napolitano while she was governor of Arizona. He also worked for the Obama campaign and was on Obama's transition team.

Who better to run a operation involving guns than a known gun hater? What could possibly go wrong? There was even a e-mail looking for statistics so they would have "evidence" to force tighter restrictions on gun owners and dealers.

The Obamabots were crying about how Carlson's article was unfair and full of lies. Anyone according to them investigating F&F is conducting a witch hunt and is just trying to smear "The One".

Obama said he didn’t know anything about any of this, then claims executive privilege in withholding Justice Department documents. Executive privilege is primarily used to protect presidential communications. Obama said he didn’t know, so what or who is being protected?

Other than Holder, who is Obama protecting? Maybe he's just covering his own ass. But then you have the deniers crying about how they did nothing wrong and Agent Terry would have been killed any way. That's one hell of a view to have. And it is possible that the events in Peck Canyon could have turned out the same. After all, criminals will get guns one way or another. But the fact is, 2 F&F guns were found and no one has ever explained where the 3rd gun went. The FBI "lost" the 3rd gun so it could not be tested. Maybe because it was carried by one of their paid informants.

IN the good old days of Watergate, the press dogged the story, the truth came out and it ended the Nixon administration. Where is the press now? They have their collective noses buried up Obama's ass and refuse to see anything that might be wrong. Rep. Boehner, if he had any balls, should commission the Sargent at Arms to go get Holder, put him in cuffs and lock him up in the house jail cell until he hands over the documents. Yes, there is a jail cell in the basement of the House.
