The NRA is supposed to be a leader in protecting our rights under the 2nd Amendment. In too many cases, they have turned their backs on gun owners and supported different infringements on our rights. With the government now fighting to take even more rights from us, it's time for members of the NRA to start writing to them and demand that they resume the fight to regain the rights that the government has stolen from us over the years.
Here is the letter I wrote;
The 2nd Amendment, like the 1st is supposed to be inviolate. The ending words "shall not be infringed" is supposed to tell everyone that our rights are sacrosanct. The government, over the years has slowly been chipping away at our 2nd Amendment with one infringement after another. It is time that the NRA stand up to the gun haters in the government and tell them no. And to tell them in no uncertain terms. I do not believe the statistic the 40 % of gun sales are done without a background check. As a dealer, I know that all internet sales are conducted by a dealer at at least the receiving end. We have seen over the years the lies that the gun haters will put forth to advance their agenda. Our own government forced dealers to make sales in the fast and furious case to advance their agenda to get even more registration enacted.
It is time for the leadership to stand up and say no more. No more infringement on that which shall not be infringed. It is time to take the lead in our fight to keep what we have left and start the march to recover that which has been lost.
