As far as concerns for gun owners, they boil down to two big showstoppers: They want to "[r]equire that any shell casing for ammunition sold or possessed in Ct. have a serial number laser etched on same for tracing purposes," and "[t]hat a mental health suitability screening process be developed for anyone seeking a license to sell, purchase or carry any type of firearm in Ct."
Serial numbers on cartridge cases? The logistics would be a absolute nightmare. And like micro-stamping, would be easily defeated.
A mental screening process? Who's going to do the screening and what is going to be their criteria? A lot of the gun haters consider just wanting to own a gun to be a mental defect.
One of the best lines in the whole thing;
the Sandy Hook Advisory Commission, a supposedly blue-ribbon panel established by Gov. Dannel P. Malloy in the wake of a gun-free zone massacre in order to punish everyone who was not responsible for it,It's what the gun haters do, they blame those of us that abide by the law. The dipshit shooter* offed himself when the coppers showed up, so the gun haters have no one to vent their anger at except us.
They mean to impose their incompetent tyranny on all of us, and they will never be satisfied until we all either bend to it or are removed as potential threats.Remember that. We are considered a threat to be removed.
* I do not publish the names of the mass shooters.The MSM gives them enough publicity.
