THE FOUR RULES

1. ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED.

2. NEVER POINT YOUR MUZZLE AT SOMETHING YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DESTROY.

3. KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET AND YOU ARE READY TO SHOOT.

4. KNOW YOUR TARGET AND WHAT'S BEYOND.

Winston Churchill said
"A GENTLEMAN, SELDOM, IF EVER, NEEDS A GUN.
BUT WHEN HE DOES, HE NEEDS IT VERY BADLY!"
Si Vis Paceum Para Bellum

Sam Adams, more than beer

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen”
Samuel Adams

Lincoln on power

"We must prevent these things being done, by either congresses or courts — The people — the people — are the rightful masters of both Congresses, and courts — not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert it —" Abraham Lincoln

MOMS DEMAND ACTION WITNESS CAUGHT MISLEADING TEXAS STATE SENATORS DURING TESTIMONY

A woman testifying for Moms Demand Action has been called on the carpet for misleading the Texas Senate for implying by omission that the tragic killing of her husband by her son resulted from the use of a firearm. In reality, her son killed his father with a pipe wrench and a knife. The fact that her son owned what she called “an arsenal” had no bearing on the murder.
A arsenal? She has no knowledge what that word even means. She might have meant a "cache", an assortment of guns of various types. A arsenal is a collection of guns that are all the same. Our arsenal in the Marines had M16's, 45 Auto pistols and short barrel pump shotguns.

Open Carry Texas (OCT) has produced a short video which contrasts the woman’s testimony at the Capitol with newspaper and television reports about the murder, and her son’s trial.

Leslie Ervin testified before the Texas Senate State Affairs Committee that day. She was wearing a Moms Demand Action t-shirt at the time. Her entire testimony can be seen on the official Texas Senate video. Her testimony begins at about the 33 minute mark in the video.
Ervin told the Senators who sit on the Committee that her paranoid schizophrenic son Lex had attempted to purchase guns from a local gun store on his 18th birthday. She said she was happy when McBride’s Gun Shop in Austin called her and told her that her son appeared unstable and they would not sell him any guns. She said she was happy because she “thought this was the way the system worked.”
She said she then called the Austin Police Department (APD), which told her that her son has a right to buy firearms.
Ervin then told the Senate State Affairs Committee that her son went to Big Box Stores and bought “an arsenal of guns.” She called the store, but said “there was nothing I could do to stop them.”  She testified that the store told her it was her son’s right to purchase firearms, and without a court order she could do nothing to prevent it.
And then, the misdirection.

After delivering this testimony, Ervin immediately told the Senate Committee that on September 18, 2013, her son killed her husband. She did not inform the committee that her son killed her husband with a metal pipe wrench and a knife.
The reasonable and natural inference from her story was that her son murdered her husband with a firearm. Ervin never clarified that her husband was killed by other means

Because her son was a nut job (now adjudicated mentally ill by the court and can no longer own a gun) You and I should be disarmed. I've got news for her. I have several examples of the pipe wrenches her son used. I bought them without any back ground checks of any kind. I've got a 24" one out there that will crush a skull with just a little effort.

Just like her bosses, This is another liar. Fits right in with Bloomberg and Watts.
