‘Offended’ flea market shopper calls 911 over Confederate merchandise

A shopper perusing the merchandise at the Redwood Country Flea Market was so offended by a vendor selling Confederate and Nazi historical memorabilia, the person actually called 911.

Wallingford, Connecticut police were dispatched to the flea market to investigate.

So this is where we are going? Calling 911 because we are "offended"? The idiot should have been charged with misuse of emergency services.

 The town resident who called 911 said there were helmets with swastikas, images of Hitler and other historical Nazi items.“I was shaking and almost vomiting,” he tells the paper. “I had to run. My grandmother had numbers,” referring to the digits the Nazis would tattoo on prisoners.

I guess he's never been to a gun show. The ones here always have a couple of dealers selling Nazi memorabilia. There are some serious collectors out there. It might be a dark spot on history, but it's something that happened and being "scared" is no reason to try and erase it.

American swastika? Are you kidding? 

It is a fine thing that the Confederate flag will no longer fly above the South Carolina state capitol. But displaying the Confederate flag anywhere is, at bottom, an act of hate. It should be recognized as such, and punished as a hate crime.

I'm at a loss for words. What has happened to our once great country that we are now claiming that the display of a historical relic is a hate crime. The pussification of Amerika continues. Solid proof that liberalism is a mental disease.
