God speed John Glenn ans Semper Fi

John Glenn was truly a American hero. 1921 to 2016



Now he has slipped the surly bonds of earth and reached out and touched the face of God.



There is a lot of good information on the NASA site about the Mercury project.

I remember as a child watching every space launch. Most of them, we watched at school. Starting in the 1st grade. Mercury, Gemini, Apollo. The first walk on the moon. It was a great time to be a child with a vivid imagination.
